Trumpeter Vince DiMartino in Residence at DU

This is great news from Al Hood, who teaches trumpet at the University of Denver.  Vince Di Martino is one of the top trumpet players and teachers in the world, and is equally at home in both the jazz and classical fields.  To mention just a few of his career highlights, Mr. DiMartino has played lead and solo trumpet with the big bands of Lionel Hampton, Clark Terry and Chuck Mangione, and with the world renown Summit Brass, and has also served as both President, Vice President, and as a member of the Board of Directors for the International Trumpet Guild.  Many of his students have gone on to great success as well, like Al Hood at DU and Brad Goode at the University of Colorado at Boulder.  I’ve attended one of his master classes in the past, and have heard his CDs and live performances, so I can enthusiastically recommend these events to any serious trumpet player!
